What to Eat After Working Out?

Post-workout snacks should equal 50% of the calories you burned during your workout and include 25% protein, 60% carbs and 15% fat. It’s good to eat immediately after workout, even if you are not starving but you should eat something. It's important to remember why eating after training is so important. 

Eating the right nutrients after you exercise will help you recover. It is your body’s glycogen stores are used during exercise. So, by eating after workout it help to repair glycogen and regrow your muscle protein. That’s why some people normally take bananas after workout because banana one of the sources of carbohydrates that will replace glycogen storage in the body.

Eggs
What you can do is a simple dish with eggs after a workout. You can eat hard boiled or maybe fried eggs with tomatoes spread on toast. By eating egg is the best source for you to get your protein after exercise. At just 70 calories each and are one of some foods that naturally contain vitamin D. 

Bananas
You need protein and some carbs right after a workout. Bananas as fine after workout because they have carbs which are good after working out. A banana is good for you after workout or maybe you need more than one bananas. Fructose is taken first by the liver and won’t leave nothing for your hungry muscles.

Grilled Chicken and Roasted Vegetables
Ideally, a post workout meal is grill chicken breast with some grill vegetables. The lean protein and carbohydrates in chicken will fill you up without feeling overly full.
 
Tuna
Did you know eating a snack within two hours of exercise will help your muscles to recover quite faster and increase your blood sugar levels. A simple and faster dish that you can prepare, just get a can of tuna and whole grain bread.  Just whole grain bread and tuna straight from the can will make your post workout meal perfect!
