High-Sodium Foods
Did you know too much of food
that contain high sodium will retain more fluid in your body. This is because
salt contains sodium and sodium will attract it like magnet. When your body
hold extra fluid and this situation will put more work on your heart and at the
same time leads to water retention, bloating and puffiness. This condition may lead to high blood pressure,
fatigue and increase your stress level.
Artificial Sugar
Don’t you ever think if you
replace sugar with artificial sugar you can reduce your sugar level. The fact
is artificial sugar are so called additives and known as “intense sweetener” that the sweetness level is higher than sugar. Artificial sweeteners also have side effect
that can lead to migraine, stress and cardiovascular disease.
Caffeine
Caffeine in coffee can increase
levels of a stress hormone known as cortisol. This hormone is responsible for
triggering stress in your body which whenever you stressed this cortisol will
release. Besides, too much of caffeine intake it can lead to a rapid heartbeat
and increase in blood pressure. It can also can activate dehydration and
irritate your digestion system.
Alcohol
Some people feel that when they
take a few sips of alcohol make them feel relaxed after a stressful day. Drinking
alcohol can stimulate the same hormone that produce stress hormone. The researcher
said that the effects of too much alcohol in human body will trigger anxiety,
increasing heart rate and blood pressure. Plus, it can activate cortisol level
and the bad effect of alcohol also it contains full of sugar that give double
effect of stress causing.
